The new Bedford South P-9 School opened its 19 classrooms to 580 students and their teachers and support staff in September, 2000. Designed and built by Rideau Construction, the school is a facility that will serve Bedford and its youth for many years to come, featuring flexible multi-use areas, a language lab, two science labs, a music room and a visual arts room, plus two state-of-the-art technology labs.
