Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia

Rideau designed and built this 83,000 sf school for the Scotia Learning Centres Consortium - one of the first Private Public Partnership Learning Centres handed over to the Halifax Regional School Board.

The unique design features 18 classrooms clustered in groups of four around common work areas and labs. A double gymnasium and full-size sports field ensure a healthy focus on fitness and sport, while a resource centre and information technology lab cater to the demanding needs of modern education.
