Mount Saint Vincent University - Phase III - New Residences

This new 50,000 sf, 156-bed student residence was completed on schedule and handed over to the University on May 30, 2003, ready for summer conferences and fall students. As general contractors for the owners, this project entailed construction of a five-storey, multi-unit student residence. Working in a confined work space adjacent to an environmentally sensitive pond, Rideau was challenged with a tight schedule. Prior to award of this contract, Rideau provided construction advice and suggested a wide range of cost savings that assisted the University in meeting their budget for the project.
