Bedford Institute of Oceanography - Energy Centre

As General Contractors for the owners, this project consisted of the construction of a new energy building to house "heat from cold water" equipment. The work required the construction of sea and land pipe transmission lines. Mechanical piping systems throughout BIO were removed and changed from steam heat to hot water heat. This project, completed in Spring 2003, demanded a tight schedule, close coordination with the owner and a detailed understanding of mechanical heating systems.
