Woodlawn Mall Renovations

Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

This project includes the demolition and removal of 10,000 sf of the existing mall. Removals included: exterior masonry walls with glazing storefront units, structural steel, concrete slabs, and associated mechanical & electrical items. The existing storefront glazing units will be re-used in the new exterior wall construction, a steel stud and dryvit system. Safety is always a high priority with Rideau, but even more so with this project, as some mall tenants remained in business during the construction period. Extra precautions were taken to ensure the public's safety.
